Learn to sing with skill and soul this summer in Sitges! Join professional vocal coach Yvette at the Sitges Gospel Summer School, a joyful, hands-on program that will guide you through essential singing techniques using gospel music as your practice ground. Hosted at Creation Studio, Av. CamĂ de la Fita 46, Sitges, this 9-week course is open to adults of all experience levels who want to build confidence and connection through voice.
In the Gospel School, I'm delivering a program on HOW to sing effectivity & WHERE the principles are required...with only 9 workshops in the program, I've broken the main areas into small bits...I explain one principle/ technique at the beginning of each workshop...these are necessary to the skill in its basic form.
After this, we gently practice the singing & people then see it's not very easy singing with others ...it takes practice.
Practice everyday singing to yourself...you are building the singing muscles.
What is the Gospel summer school?
The School is where you learn how to sing. I coach you through the singing process, including body warm ups, vocal warm ups...basic singing techniques... knowing what level, pitch, sound & tone you have...knowing how to sing alone & how to sing with others...we will cover these areas & more...
If you don't know these areas, I will encourage & coach you through them during June & July.
Please come ready with a learning mindset, open & ready to receive guidance & support. We will use Gospel songs to practice the techniques.
Please be aware when the Sitges Community Gospel Singers choir starts in September...there will be an expectation of singing knowledge, skills & personal ability concerning singing in a group.
